A Slow Descent by The Butterfly Effect starts playing throughout the arena. As the drum solo subsides, smoke begins to seep in as well. Just as it looks like no one is coming the music fades and a voice erupts.
Voice: "It's been... ten years since I first began my career."
The crowd begins looking around, then cheers are heard near the crowds entrance. The cameras pan around and out walks Distor, in jeans, shirt and baseball cap.
Distor: "Its been a real long time since I joined a federation at the bottom of the ladder too, but back then, even the local feds got screen time."
He starts moving through the crowd, heading towards the ring.
Distor: "Now, I've a list of things to do while I'm here... the first thing? Being in a federation that's made it to the top of the heap."
Now Distor's leaning on the barricade, thinking about jumping it, but thinking again and resumes talking.
Distor: "The second? Holding the Heavyweight Championship of a federation at the very top."
Distor finally leaps the barricade, walks up, rolls into the ring facing the entrance ramp and starts talking one last time.
Distor: "And the third? I've been in five federations, and in all five of them I've never lost my debut match. Shadow, I've never heard of you before, and you probably likewise. But I will not lose my streak tonight."
